Reclaim Your Rest: A Guided Yoga Nidra Journey

In a culture that glorifies constant busyness, choosing to rest is a radical act of self-care. If your mind is constantly spinning or your body feels perpetually tense, movement isn't always what you need—sometimes, you just need to lie down and reset.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is a systematic technique that guides your brain waves down into the deep delta states—the exact state where physical healing, memory consolidation, and emotional integration occur. You remain fully conscious while your body experiences profound levels of relaxation.

During this 60-minute class, you will:

Settle into a supported, cozy setup using yoga mats, pillows and warm blankets. (we have the yoga mats!)

Follow a soothing voice through body scanning, breath awareness, and gentle visualization.

Release physical tension stored deep within the muscles and connective tissue.

Leave feeling deeply restored, clear-headed, and emotionally centered.

No prior yoga experience needed. If you can lie down and breathe, you can do Yoga Nidra.

Meet your Host- Mary Ann Carney

Mary Ann is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and a trained Sound Practitioner. Mary Ann completed her sound pratitioner training with Monique Mead, creator of the first university course in sound healing at Carnegie Mellon University. Mary Ann creates a peaceful space to slow down, reconnect, and invite the body and mind into deep rest. She looks forward to sharing this experience with you!
